We wear red poppies to remember,

That peace on earth shall grow better.

Canadian soldiers fought bravely,

That’s why we wear red poppy.

A lot of soldiers fell in the battle

Now we wear poppies that are as red as an apple

“Remembrance Day is important.” Says poppy.

“It’s about remembering those who fought for you and me”.

Little red poppy, help me keep Canada safe and free.
