SCOUTS HONOUR – Over 5,000 scouts from across North America and even as far away as Hong Kong have joined together at Camp Woods just outside of Sylvan Lake for the 2013 Canadian Jamboree that began on Saturday and runs for a week. Shown here is Andrew Price, Camp Chief, shooting off a confetti canon during the launch of Scouts Canada’s new technology initiative S.T.E.M. For more information on S.T.E.M. (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) look for the Red Deer Express feature on the scouts Wednesday.
