Brett Watt, a 17-year-old youth from Red Deer, has been found dead, police have said.

No further information is being released, as the incident is not a criminal matter, the RCMP said.

On Monday the RCMP sent out a press release seeking the public’s assistance in locating Watt. He was reported as leaving his home in Red Deer in what is described as a “depressed state” on May 13 and had not been heard from since.
