City gears up for Friday’s rally

RED DEER IS READY – Mayor Tara Veer officially proclaimed Aug. 22nd as ‘Red Deer is Ready Day’ during a press conference held Monday at City Hall, where citizens were also asked to begin using #RedDeerIsReady and #CanadaGames on videos and photos uploaded to Twitter and Instagram stating why they believe the City is ready to host the 2019 Canada Winter Games. Citizens have also been asked to join along in the Red Deer is Ready Rally on Friday from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Ross Street when the Games Bid Committee visits.
