Arts Council receives grant

The Red Deer Arts Council has landed a $5,000 grant from the province. The City has also been chosen as a Designated Celebration Site for the 2011 Alberta Arts Days.

The Alberta Arts Days funding will go towards a theatrical performance for elementary students in Red Deer on Sept. 30 and visiting artists in the middle to high schools during the same week.

Red Deer is part of the celebrations occurring throughout the province during Alberta Arts Days 2011.
