Remembrance Day is special

For those who fought in the war

Many gave up so much of their lives

So we could have peace for evermore

Unfortunatley that is not the case,

For war still wages on and on

Some people don’t know what peace is

They live in fear from dawn to dawn.

We are so lucky to live in this land

We have freedom to come and go

The only thing we have to complain about,

Is the wind, the ice, the snow.
