Lest We Forget

Submitted by Krisanna Apostol in the 13-17 age category

Lest we forget,

All the soldiers who fought to their death,

All the tears that were shed,

And all those who boldly led

We should be thankful and respect,

Without any neglect

Let’s stand proud with strength

Keep remembering, no matter the length

Let’s pay tribute to the soldiers with our tears,

Remembering them throughout the years

Let’s keep this peace that we’ve almost met,

Lest we forget.
