Steve passed away peacefully surrounded with family at the age of 72 on October 19, 2018.

He was born in Rhode Island and raised his family in Red Deer, Alberta.

Steve loved his career and devoted his life to helping others through his dedication to mental health. He was an educator, and psychologist.

He loved spending time with family, always saw the good in everything and brought joy to others through his humor and good spirits.

We would like to thank everyone who had helped Steve in his journey fighting cancer for 14 years, the kind people at the Cancer Center in Red Deer and the palliative care at the Red Deer Hospital. Thank you to the doctors, nurses, staff and Rexall pharmacy who treated him with the gentlest of care and exceptional service.

He will be missed by his family and friends.
