Marie moved from Red Deer in 2014 and lived the last years of her life in Nelson, BC.
She left peacefully to join her husband Joseph, her son Gordon, grandson Scott and so many others who have gone ahead to prepare a place for her. She was recently joined by her sister, Doris, the last of the siblings.
Marie leaves behind to celebrate her full life daughter Elaine, sons Robert, David and Don, along with eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In speaking of celebration, Marie was known to fellow residents as the Party Girl because of her newly enhanced taste for live music at the local pubs and late returns to ‘the home. She will be missed.
Marie will be interred with her husband Joseph on May 25, 2018 at 11:00am at the Alto Rest cemetery in Red Deer.
