Police located a missing girl in Red Deer today.

Police located a missing girl in Red Deer today.

On Jan. 9, Red Deer City RCMP received a complaint of a missing 12-year-old female. She was last seen in the Glendale area of Red Deer.

Sonya Chipaway had left on foot and had not returned.

Police issued a release Jan. 18 asking for the public’s assistance in locating Sonya, and it was announced that afternoon she had been located.
