WANTED - An Alberta-wide warrant has been issued for Mathew Duda who has been charged after an incident last summer

After an exhaustive investigation into an incident in July during which shots were fired in a convenience store parking lot after a traffic dispute, Red Deer RCMP have charged 29-year-old Mathew Duda of Red Deer and are searching for him on Alberta-wide warrants.

He has been charged with discharging a firearm with intent, operating a motor vehicle while being pursued by police, possession of weapon contrary to prohibition order, possession of weapon for dangerous purpose, careless use of a firearm, possession of prohibited firearm with ammo without license, possession of firearm/ammunition in motor vehicle, two counts of driving while disqualified and two counts of driving an uninsured motor vehicle.

Duda is described as Caucasian, 6’1” tall, 155 lbs, with short brown hair and brown eyes.

The public is advised not to approach Duda if he is seen. If anyone sees or has information about his whereabouts, they are asked to contact the Red Deer RCMP immediately at 403-343-5575.
