Harvest moon

BRIGHT NIGHT – The harvest moon rose early in the evening last night illuminating the fields as farmers brought in their crops. While many believe that the harvest moon is given the orange hue due to the dust particles stirred from harvest, it is from the moon near the horizon reflecting the setting sun’s colour that causes it to look orange in colour.
