Charges laid after hit and run in downtown Red Deer

Police set up a containment in the City's downtown Tuesday; three suspects arrested, one suspect remains at large

Red Deer RCMP have charged three suspects who were arrested after fleeing from a stolen white Nissan SUV in downtown Red Deer on Tuesday following a collision.

RCMP continue their work to identify and locate a fourth suspect who fled the scene, and will issue a further update if an arrest is made.

Christina Lauraine Scot, 30, has been charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000, possession of stolen property under $5,000, possession of prohibited weapon and resisting/obstructing a peace officer.

At the time of her arrest, she was wanted on eight warrants out of Red Deer and Sylvan Lake for two counts of possession of stolen property, uttering a forged document, fraud, two counts of failing to appear in court, and several traffic offences.

Cody Michael Myer, 30, has been charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000, failing to comply with undertaking, failing to comply with probation order, and resisting/obstructing a peace officer.

Justin William Holt, 31, has been charged with possession of prohibited weapon, possession of stolen property over $5,000, weapons possession contrary to order and resisting/obstructing a peace officer
