Red Deer RCMP are looking for public assistance to identify the man who assaulted a man the afternoon of April 21st in the Riverside Meadows neighbourhood, sending him to hospital with numerous facial injuries.
At 5:30 p.m. on April 21st, RCMP responded to a report of an injured man in a field in the area of 54th Ave. and 60th St.
EMS attended and took the 49-year-old victim to hospital, where he was treated for facial injuries that will require surgery. The victim was not able to provide a description of his assailant, who was noted to be a male with dark hair.
RCMP continue to investigate.
