Suspect sought after man robbed at gunpoint

Victim was walking in the Bower neighbourhood on Tuesday afternoon

Red Deer RCMP are looking for a man who robbed a man at gunpoint as he walked in the Bower neighbourhood the afternoon of April 25th.

Sometime between approximately 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on April 25th, a man walking in an alley behind a strip of businesses between 50th Ave. and Barrett Drive was approached by a man with a handgun who robbed the victim of the cash in his wallet. The victim was not injured during the robbery.

The male suspect is described as light skinned, around 6′ tall with a slender build. He was wearing blue jeans and two black zip hoodies with the hood up; the outer hoodie was unzipped and had a red logo

wearing a black mask and was carrying a black handgun or replica handgun.

Police continue to investigate.
