Red Deer Safety City Society annual general meeting runs Nov. 25 at 6:45 p.m. at the Red Deer Kiwanis Safety City (3030 55th St.) If you have ever driven by the little town on the east side of Red Deer and wondered what actually happens here, now is your chance to find out. Come join the staff and board of directors to learn more about the Society’s programs and financial performance over the past year. Quilt Guild Meeting: The Central Alberta Quilters Guild meet on the first Monday of each month at 7 p.m. Location is Bower-Kin Community Hall located at  85 Boyce St. All levels of quilters welcome. 403-346-2476.

“Friends Over 45” is an organization for women who are new to Red Deer, who seek friendship or who have experienced lifestyle changes. We meet for supper the first Tuesday of each month. New members are welcome. 403-343-6527 or 403-346-5499.
