Born and raised in Calgary, I sold my Security/Home Theatre Company, resigned from my 5 or 6 book keeping jobs, traded in my hiking boots & Kananaskis for some ATV’s and Rocky Mountain mud holes, and moved my family to Red Deer the summer of 2003 to begin a quieter life, with my new husband and his sons.

I have been with the Red Deer Express and the Great West Newspaper Group since January 2004 and can understand the challenges business owners face from hiring the right people for the job, increasing their bottom line, promoting their products and services, to being competitive and successful in the business world. Ed Moller draws on over 30 years of weekly and daily newspaper sales experience to assist clients in preparing effective advertising campaigns. Prior to entering advertising sales, Ed was in retail management, so he understands advertising sales from both sides of the desk.

Ed will assist clients with their pre-printed insert campaigns, help identify extra co-op money available from manufacturers and suppliers, assist with advertising schedules and budgets, offer professional design ideas and coordinate effective advertising layouts with the Red Deer Express production department. Ed will also oversee proofing and placement of the advertisements to ensure that the needs of the clients are met.

Ed serves on the Communications Committee and is an Ambassador of the Red Deer Chamber of Commerce; a Director of the Red Deer Twilight Homes Foundation and a Past President and active member of the Kiwanis Club of Red Deer. Ed held the position of Lt. Governor for Division Seven and Trustee for Kiwanis International, Western Canada District for the terms 2002 to 2004.

Lou’s first accomplishments in life are her three beautiful children, her loving grandson and a man that loves her unconditionally. Lou’s second accomplishment is close to 20 years in the field of the Newspaper Business.

Started out has an inside sales person, worked in the Circulation Department, Advertising Department as a Runner and now as an Advertising Sales Consultant. Her repertoire with her clients are unbelievable, Lou will always try to walk that extra mile for them. Lou treats her clients like family and they in turn do the same.

Lou enjoys bringing local business’s to reach a higher profile in Community focused features such as: Canadian Blood Donor Services, Expert’s Advice, Golden Circle Calendar, Red Deer Chamber of Commerce Spotlight Page, and her Breast Cancer Awareness feature every October and many many more. Lou is also proud to be an Ambassador for the Red Deer Chamber of Commerce and is on their Communication Board and works close with the Canadian Home Builders Assoc.-Central Alberta.
